The General Authority for Competition (GAC) issued 43 no-objection certificates for mergers and acquisitions (M&As) in the second quarter of 2022, an increase of 23% year-on-year (YoY).




Economic concentration applications by foreign establishments accounted for 61% of total applications filed with GAC in Q2 2022, the authority said in a recent report.
