NASA’s Spitzer Space Telescope caught an infrared picture of the star-forming area NGC 2174 exposed ratings of infant stars shrouded by dust. Some clouds in this area appear like a monkey in visible-light images. This nebula is called Monkey Head. The Monkey face vanishes in infrared images as various clouds are highlighted in infrared and visible-light images.
NGC 2174 is an emission nebula situated around 6,400 light-years away in the constellation Orion. Columns of dust, somewhat to the right of center in the image, are being taken of the dust by radiation and outstanding winds from the most popular young stars just recently born in the location.

Light with a wavelength of 3.5 microns is displayed in blue, 8.0 microns in green, and 24 microns in red. The greens reveal the natural particles in the dust clouds, lit up by starlight. Reds are triggered by the thermal radiation given off from the really most popular dust locations.
