LEAVENWORTH, Kan. (AP)– A previous Kansas City Chiefs defensive deal with was discovered dead in a Kansas federal jail where he was being hung on charges of unlawful guns belongings, a jail authorities stated.

Saousoalii Siavii Jr., 43, was discovered unresponsive at the U.S. Penitentiary in Leavenworth on Thursday afternoon, U.S. Bureau of Prisons spokesperson Anna Armijo stated in a declaration, The Kansas City Star reported. Siavii was dealt with by jail personnel and required to a location health center where he was noticable dead.

The jail did not launch extra information about Siavii’s death. An e-mail sent out to a BOP representative from The Associated Press was not right away returned Friday.

An e-mail looking for remark from Siavii’s lawyer was not right away returned Friday.

From American Samoa, the 6-foot-5, 315- pound previous Oregon lineman was prepared by Kansas City in the 2nd round in 2004 and invested 2 seasons with the Chiefs. He bet Dallas in 2009 and Seattle in 2010.

In August 2019, Siavii was jailed and later on charged with being an illegal drug user in belongings of guns after rural Kansas City cops state he was spotted leaving an automobile reported taken and combating with officers, who utilized a stun weapon on him two times throughout the arrest. District attorneys declared Siavii had a weapon, ammo, methamphetamine and cannabis.
